Camp River Staff Opportunities
Looking to gain leadership skills, make a difference, and enjoy a summer full of fun? Camp River is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join the team!
Camp Counselors (Ages 15+)
Camp Counselors play a vital role in shaping the camp experience. You’ll work directly with children, design exciting activities, and work with fellow counselors to ensure that every camper has a positive and enriching experience. This is an hourly paid position, and while experience with children is preferred, it’s not required. If you're passionate about working with kids, this is a great opportunity!
Counselor-in-Training (CIT, Ages 14+)
For teens who want to gain hands-on experience, the CIT program is perfect. CITs work alongside counselors to help facilitate activities and bring the camp magic to life. It's also a great way to earn volunteer hours while making memories with peers! The program is divided into three, two-week sessions.
Camp Technicians (Ages 11-13)
For younger teens looking to explore camp leadership, the Camp Technician program offers a two-week session full of fun and work experience. Camp Technicians gain a glimpse into what it’s like to be a counselor while developing valuable life skills.
Fun ‘Til Five Counselors
Camp River’s activities don’t stop at 5 p.m. If you’re looking for a flexible role with after-hours programming, Fun ‘Til Five Counselors bring their energy and creativity to evening activities. This can be done either in conjunction with daytime camp hours or separately.
